VSMPO-AVISMA to supply the Sukhoi Aviation Holding Company with titanium components

The VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, OJSC and Sukhoi Aviation Holding Company, OJSC have signed a five-year cooperation agreement, under which the aviation holding company will receive titanium-alloy products to use in the production of military and civilian aircraft.

The corporation's press office told RusBusinessNews that Sukhoi is the first aircraft manufacturer in Russia to sign such an operating agreement with VSMPO-AVISMA.

Sukhoi, OJSC is the largest Russian aviation holding company and includes design agencies and factories for the mass production of aircraft. Sukhoi is Russia's biggest exporter of aviation technology and the world's third largest manufacturer of modern fighter jets.
