The VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, OJSC, to ramp up its production up to 40 thousand tons per year

The VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, OJSC, is planning to increase its production by 2020 by one third –up to 40 thousand tons per year. At present, this figure is in the range of 28 to 30 thousand tons of titanium ingots and forgings.

Mikhail Voevodin, CEO of the Corporation, has informed RusBusinessNews that production growth will occur by increasing the share of value-added products. More than 40% will be held by forging five years from now.

M. Voevodin pointed out that now 60% of VSMPO-Avisma products go for export.
