Perm Authorities Brought Zoo to Milan

The Perm authorities presented three recreational projects, with a total value of about 6-7 billion roubles, to foreign investors. The presentation was given during Expo Italia Real Estate 2009, the real estate trade show in Milan.

Representatives of the Perm Mayor's Office told RusBusinessNews that a site of 55 thousand square metres will be allocated for the construction of an aqua park. The multifunctional sports centre Orlyonok (Young Eagle), which is currently being designed, will occupy an area of the same size.

The new Perm zoo, designed by Amusement Logic S.L., a Spanish company, is the largest-scale project, with its 380 thousand square metres. Over 200 thousand square metres will be used for open-air cages; the rest will be taken up by Permian Park - a recreational area with shops, showrooms and walkways. The project is estimated at 3-4 billion roubles.
