The Uralvagonzavod Corporation will spend 15 billion rubles on upgrading of the Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant - Uraltrac

In the next three years the Uralvagonzavod Research and Production Corporation intends to invest up to 20 billion rubles in development of the road building division. It will result in a 30-40 billion ruble annual increase in the sales revenue - a 3-4 increase against 2010.

The representatives of the Press Service of the corporation have informed "RusBusinessNews" that most of the investment, up to 15 billion rubles, will be earmarked for upgrading of CHTZ-Uraltrac (the Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant - Uraltrac). The corporation management intends to scale up a building and road machinery division at the site of the Chelyabinsk plant. The upgrading of CHTZ-Uraltrac will cover the entire processing chain - foundry and forging operations, thermal, testing and mechanical facilities. The corporation is planning to step up the commercial manufacturing of diesel engines for industrial and civil application in compliance with the best world standards.
