Russian regions will demonstrate investment potential at the international forum in Moscow

The international forum - Regions of Russia. Investment Attractiveness and Development Strategies will take place on November 9-10, 2011. The event is organized by the IC ENERGY Company under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce & Industry. The information partner of the forum is RusBusinessNews RIA.

The event will be held with participation of representatives of Russian and international business elite, diplomats and politicians. The speakers are represented by experts of the RF Ministry of Economic Development, RF Ministry of Transportation, the Russian Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and governors of a number of regions.

The representatives of IC ENERGY informed RusBusinessNews that the forum participants will give assessment of the investment climate and potential of the Russian regions as well as the prospects for their growth. A special emphasis will be placed on the issues related to the development of the economy of leadership and innovations in Russia. The forum intends to discuss development prospects of agriculture, food industry, tourism and sports infrastructure.

The outlined problems include regional differentiation of investment conditions, investment uncertainty in Russia, difficulties associated with generation of direct investment, infrastructural disparity between Moscow and Russian regions.
