Ural Airlines has been honored with the international Golden Chariot award for the second time. The air carrier won in the Leader in Russian Air Transportation category, based on the company's safe, stable flying record, increasing passenger numbers, and dynamic growth.

Ural Airlines's press office told RusBusinessNews that the awards ceremony was held September 12, 2011 in Moscow.

Ural Airlines is one of the top ten major Russian airlines for volume of traffic. In 2010, the air carrier served 1,792,220 passengers. Ural Airlines's main fleet consists of 18 Airbus aircraft.
