Uralvagonzavod opened a trading house in Kazakhstan

The authorized distributor of the Uralvagonzavod Research and Production Corporation - the UVZ-Kazakhstan Trading House has started operating in the Republic of Kazakhstan. It was opened with the assistance of OKZHS, a Kazakh company.

The representatives of the Uralvagonzavod Press Service have informed RusBusinessNews that consumers will be offered civil and military defense products as well as components manufactured by the corporation's affiliates. The trading house will also represent the corporation's interests in new joint service centers and machine-building factories in Kazakhstan.

In 2011, Uralvagonzavod supplied military hardware for the armed forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan - T-72B tanks and tank support fighting vehicles (BMPT). Astana is also interested in purchasing of upgraded T-90S tanks manufactured by the corporation.
