SVERDLOVSK REGION.

In June 2012, Koltsovo Airport in Ekaterinburg will host the Second International Air Forum Routes CIS. This is the first time this Forum is being held in Russia. An agreement to that effect was signed during the World Routes Forum that took place in Berlin in early October.

According to RusBusinessNews, Commercial Director of Airport Koltsovo OJSC Sergey Dotsenko, foreign airlines are interested in setting up flights to Ekaterinburg. In the context of World Routes - 2011, airport representatives held negotiations with Air France, Airberlin, Swiss, BMI, Alitalia, Meridiana fly, Iberia, Vueling. Ekaterinburg airport is planning to start receiving their flights and to open up direct regular flights to Paris, Berlin, Zurich, Geneva, London, Madrid.

Currently, the capital of the Sverdlovsk region is maintaining direct regular flights to Rome, Helsinki, Prague, Karlovy Vary, Frankfort on Main, Beijing, Dubai, Istanbul, Tel Aviv, Bangkok, Kiev, Astana, Minsk, Dushanbe, Tbilisi, Tashkent.
