VSMPO-AVISMA is prepared to supply titanium to its subsidiary in China

The Chinese company AVIC might become one of VSMPO-Tirus's first customers. VSMPO-Tirus (Beijing) Metallic Materials, Ltd. is a subsidiary of PSC VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, established in May, 2011. Its offices and warehouses are located in Beijing and the Tianjin province, which is part of a free trade zone.

The corporation's press office told RusBusinessNews that representatives from the two companies negotiated a potential deal at the Aviation Expo China air show held in September. "We're working on some international projects with companies like Rolls-Royce and Messier-Dowty, so VSMPO's products are essential to us", claimed Hai Hao, a representative of AVIC.

Currently, experts from VSMPO-Tirus are analyzing the needs of potential customers in China, Korea, and other countries in South-East Asia, determining what products they need. The first shipments of Russian titanium will arrive at the company's warehouse between the end of 2011 and the beginning of 2012.
