Krasnokamsk plant to take up 20% of the Russian crankcase market

"Krasnokamskiy Remontno-Mekhanicheskiy Zavod", a joint venture with Italian and Russian capital, is going to take up 20% of the Russian crankcase protectors' market. As plant representatives told RusBusinessNews, today the product range features over 100 crankcase protector models for VAZes, Daewoos, Chevrolets, Fords, KIAs, Hyundais, Hondas, Mazdas, Nissans and Porsches.

The modern Italian equipment set includes laser cutting machines and plate-bending presses. The nominal capacity of the line allows producing up to 10 thousand carter protectors annually.

Currently the plant's management is negotiating sales contracts to gain foothold in the markets of Moscow, St-Petersburg and other Russian regions. Through expanding the sales geography the plant hopes to reach its production targets.
