URALCHEM sets its eyes on the Scandinavian market

The URALCHEM United Chemical Company, OJSC, has agreed on inter-laboratory tests of its products in Eurofins (Sweden), a leading Scandinavian laboratory. The tests will help to bring the manufacturer's methods used for the analysis of fertilizer composition into compliance with the applicable international standards and to confirm high quality of the products intended for export to other countries, including the countries of Scandinavia.

URALCHEM has stable relationships with international laboratories. The representatives of the company's Press Service have informed RusBusinessNews that in 2011 the Mineral Fertilizer Plant of Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Works (a member of URALCHEM) worked with Salamon & Seaber UK) under the cooperation agreement. The cooperation was very significant for assessment of the products supplied to the UK market.

The Unified Chemical Company URALCHEM, OJSC is one of the largest companies in the market for nitrogen and phosphate fertilizers in Russia and the CIS. Its subsidiaries produce over 2.5 million tons of ammonium nitrate, 2.8 million tons of ammonia, 0.8 million tons of monoammonium and diammonium phosphates, 0.8 million tons of compound fertilizers, and 1.2 million tons of carbamide every year.
