CHTZ-Uraltrak will supply the Uralvagonzavod corporation with a billion rubles' worth of components

In 2012, CHTZ-Uraltrak, LLC (a subsidiary of the Uralvagonzavod research and production corporation) plans to provide products worth over one billion rubles to be used in the production of railroad cars. This is an increase of 400 million rubles over last year's deliveries.

The company's press office told RusBusinessNews that the increase in component production intended for Uralvagonzavod's main factory began in August of 2011, when CHTZ-Uraltrak was purchased by Uralvagonzavod. By year's end, the monthly production had doubled in comparison with the first half of the year.

In 2012 CHTZ-Uraltrak will begin producing new types of products for rolling stock. In the coming months there are plans to begin production of axle box assemblies that connect the sets of wheels to the railroad cars.
