Rolls-Royce assessed the VSMPO-AVISMA quality

Experts from Rolls-Royce have assessed the quality assurance system at the VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation's titanium sponge manufacturing facilities. The VSMPO-AVISMA Press-Service has informed RusBusinessNews that the experts paid special attention to studying of the multistage system of process protection against penetration of refractory metals into the final product.

At the end of 2011, VSMPO-AVISMA signed three long-term contracts with Rolls-Royce. The Russian corporation agreed to supply products for the amount of 250 million US dollars by 2015.

The production process at VSMPO-AVISMA is also being supervised by General Electric and Snecma.
