VSMPO-AVISMA's net profits have increased almost fivefold

Net profits of VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, OJSC for 2011 came to 3.058 billion rubles, which is 4.7 times more than in 2010.

The corporation's press office told RusBusinessNews that VSMPO-AVISMA's revenues increased by 22%, up to 30.386 million rubles. Profits from sales rose over 150%, up to 5.708 million rubles. The corporation's expenditures topped 16 billion rubles, an increase of 16%.

VSMPO-AVISMA will direct some of this additional income toward its investment programs. The corporation plans to invest about $800 million by 2015 to expand its facilities.
