Uralvagonzavod and Rusagrotrans will make a new hopper car

The Uralvagonzavod Research and Production Corporation, OJSC, has signed a memorandum with Rusagrotrans, CJSC, dealing with rail transportation of agricultural products.

The representatives of the Press Service of the corporation have informed RusBusinessNews that the companies intend to design an advanced multiple-purpose model of the hopper car. The self-dumping hopper freight car will be used for transportation of grain and other loose bulk cargoes that need protection against moisture damage while in transit.

The parties also reached agreement on supplies of UVZ-model freight cars to Rusagrotrans till 2017.
