The revenue of VSMPO-AVISMA went up almost by 25%

Over January-March 2012, the VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, OJSC, supplied 6,783 tons of titanium products to its consumers, thus exceeding by almost 12% its output of the first quarter of 2011.

The VSMPO-AVISMA Press-Service has informed RusBusinessNews that the company's revenue increased by almost 25 %, reaching 8,797 billion rubles. The net profit amounted to 2,002 billion rubles, demonstrating a 1.7-fold increase.

The improvement of the key indicators of VSMPO-AVISMA is explained by vigorous growth of the aerospace and electric power industry, chemical machine-building, oil and gas production, i.e. the sectors that are the main consumers of titanium products. The regular customers of the corporation - Airbus and Boeing are planning to supply about 570 and 600 airliners, respectively, to the market in 2012.
