KHABAROVSK REGION.

UVZ-Logistic, the transportation and freight company of the Uralvagonzavod Research and Production Corporation, OJSC, obtained the permit from the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) to take part in the bids for the controlling stake of the Khabarovsk-based Vanino Commercial Sea Port, OJSC. The bidders compete for the state-owned 73.33% of the common stock (55% of the authorized capital).

The representatives of the FAS press-center informed RusBusinessNews that the permit to purchase the Port Vanino state-owned stake had already been given to UCL Holding, Mechel-Trans, LLC and En+ Port, LLC (a member of the En+ Group). The En+ Group already owns 28.1% (21.6% votes) in Port Vanino through Soleggiato Investments.

Port Vanino is the largest port in the Khabarovsk Region. Its cargo turnover totaled 19.1 million tons in 2011.
