Japanese automakers are interested in new products from VSMPO-AVISMA

VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, OJSC took part for the first time in the Automotive Engineering Exposition that was held in Tokyo from May 23 to 25, 2012. The exhibition, which was organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan, was held concurrently with conventions for auto-industry professionals.

The corporation's press office told RusBusinessNews that representatives of Japanese automakers are interested in titanium from Verkhnyaya Salda. That metal is used to manufacture the exhaust systems for Kawasaki and Yamaha high-end motorcycles.

Next year VSMPO plans to bring samples of titanium automotive springs to the Land of the Rising Sun.
