VSMPO-AVISMA continues to supply parts for Dreamliner

The VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, OJSC, has extended its agreement with the French company - Messier-Bugatti-Dowty manufacturing landing gear systems. The agreement was signed during the Farnborough International Airshow. Under the agreement the corporation will continue to supply titanium forgings and primarily machined parts within the program for manufacturing of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

Mikhail Voevodin, General Director of the corporation, has informed RusBusinessNews that VSMPO is ready to support Messier-Bugatti-Dowty during a substantial increase in the output within the Boeing 787 Program. The enterprise will be able to meet the deadlines in completing the orders due to the extensive network of its own distributors located in the USA, the United Kingdom, Germany and China.

Messier-Bugatti-Dowty (the Safran Group) is the world leader in manufacturing of landing gears and brake systems of aircraft. It works with 33 companies specializing in manufacturing of civil, military, corporate and regional jetliners; it participates in more than 22 thousand aviation programs. The daily output of Messier-Bugatti-Dowty exceeds 35 thousand landing gears.
