VSMPO-AVISMA's medical titanium has received international approval

Foreign auditors have verified VSMPO-AVISMA's current quality management system for medical products.

Those experts acknowledged that the system is fully compliant with ISO 13485:2003. They also pointed out that VSMPO-AVISMA has established and maintains a quality management system for its production of semi-finished titanium products intended for medical purposes.

The corporation's press office told RusBusinessNews that VSMPO-AVISMA held 18% of the market for medical titanium in 2011. There are plans to increase that share to 25% by 2015.
