VSMPO-AVISMA has set its sights on new investment projects

VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, OJSC has decided to pursue a 2.5 billion-ruble project to build a new division to manufacture rolled rings.

Mikhail Voyevodin, the corporation's CEO, told RusBusinessNews that products with high added value will be made there, such as rotary rings and coils.

By 2016, the mechanical-processing division will be modernized and moved to sites currently occupied by one of the corporation's subsidiaries – VSMPO Aluminum Profile, LLC. Proposals have been made to eventually build a plant in Vietnam to produce sponge and also to put projects into operation to supply energy to VSMPO's sites in Berezniki (the Perm territory).
