RCC is revamping the oxygen plant at Karabashmed

Karabashmed, CJSC (operating within the Russian Copper Company) has started revamping its oxygen plant; the revamping is scheduled for completion by the end of 2013. The required equipment will be supplied by LINDE, a German company.

The RCC Press-Service has informed RusBusinessNews that performance of the upgraded plant will improve twice - to 20,000 cubic meters of gaseous oxygen per hour. Due to this, the adverse impact on environment will be reduced.

Under the modernization program of Karabashmed, RCC intends to invest more than 7.8 billion rubles in upgrading of the enterprise from 2011 to 2016.
