Net profit of VSMPO-AVISMA rose almost twofold

Net profit of the VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, OJSC in January-September 2012 estimated in accordance with Russian Accounting Standards reached 5.57 billion rubles, which represents a 1.9-fold year-on-year increase.

The corporation’s press office told RusBusinessNews that VSMPO-AVISMA’s income increased by a third to 29.288 billion rubles, gross profit rose almost 1.5-fold to 11.164 billion rubles. Pre-tax profit increased twofold by 7.039 billion rubles.

The growth was largely due to the enhancement of labor efficiency by 30% up to 1,476 thousand rubles per employee.
