In the first six months of 2013, Azot, a subsidiary of URALCHEM UCC, OJSC, manufactured 1,098,000 tons of commercial products, which is an increase of 0.6% compared to the same period in 2012. Mineral Fertilizers, OJSC produced 642,000 tons of products, which is 0.3% less than last year.

Azot's press office told RusBusinessNews that the business had an output of 552,700 tons of ammonium nitrate, 270,100 tons of carbamide, and 78,000 tons of modified porous ammonium nitrate. The biggest jump was seen in the output of technical liquid ammonia, which went up by 8.4% to 106,900 tons.

In the first six months of 2013, gross output of ammonia at Mineral Fertilizers, OJSC came to 298,500 tons, and carbamide - 343,800 tons.
