VSMPO-AVISMA aims at 35% of global titanium market

Mikhail Voevodin, Director General of VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, presented strategist goals of his company, including his intention to win 35% of global titanium market. The corporation mainly counts on the increased demand for VSMPO-AVISMA products from the manufacturers of aircraft and spacecraft.

As the VSMPO-AVISMA press office told RusBusinessNews, the current share of supplies to aircraft manufacturers is as high as 65-70% of the company’s portfolio.

In 2012, the corporation delivered over 30 K t of titanium products to its consumers. According to Mikhail Voevodin, Director General of VSMPO-AVISMA, the corporation currently controls approximately 30% of the global titanium market.
