VSMPO-AVISMA to invest 9.7 billion rubles in updates

In 2014, the VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, OJSC plans to invest 9.673 billion rubles to modernize and expand its production facilities.

The corporation’s press office told RusBusinessNews that 7.5 billion will be allocated to the site at Verkhnyaya Salda (VSMPO). In particular, the funds will be used to complete the construction of a 4,000-ton capacity press, skull furnaces, and a ring rolling mill.

In addition, more than two billion will be invested in the company in Berezniki (AVISMA). That money is slated for investment in the groundwork for major projects for the future.
