VSMPO-AVISMA is expanding its deliveries of titanium to the manufacturers of medical equipment

The VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, OJSC presented its medical-titanium products at the 10th Annual Orthopedic Manufacturing & Technology Exposition and Conference, which was held in Chicago. Most of the exhibitors were manufacturers of components for orthopedic implants.

VSMPO-AVISMA's press office told RusBusinessNews that several long-term agreements to supply titanium were signed during the conference, and preliminary arrangements were reached with with consumers interested in metallurgical goods from the Urals.

In 2013, AVISMA had sales revenue of over $1.4 billion USD, about 2% of which came from medical titanium.
