SVERDLOVSK REGION

Ural Airlines entered into a cooperation agreement with Harbin International Airport. Sergey Skuratov, CEO of the airline, and Wang Yanzhong, Deputy General Director of the air harbor, signed the document on July 8 at the VI International Exhibition "INNOPROM", which was held in Ekaterinburg.

The Press Service of the airline has informed RusBusinessNews that the parties discussed their further plans for transport communication between the Sverdlovsk Region and Heilongjiang Province and increasing the number of tourists in both directions. In addition, the parties agreed to improve services provided to passengers and cargos.

The signing of the agreement was expedited due to a sharp increase in the number of flights made by Ural Airlines to Harbin. The airline makes its flights to the Chinese city from Ekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk and Moscow. The launching of a transit flight from St. Petersburg with a stop-over in Koltsovo Airport is being discussed.

Ural Airlines rank among the top Russian airlines in terms of air traffic volume. In 2014, the airline provided services to more than 5.1 million passengers. Ural Airlines have 35 Airbus aircraft in their fleet.
