Azot, a subsidiary of UCC URALCHEM, OJSC, has reported the results of the first half of 2015. The total output of finished products was more than 1.1 million tons over January-June 2015, which exceeded by 3% the output of 2014. The output of ammonium nitrate compliant with GOST 2-2013 reached 601,042 tons, which is by 6% more than the target output.

RusBusinessNews has been informed by the Azot Press Service that the company was able to reach such performance indicators by reducing the time required for shutdown and routine maintenance as well as due to stable operation of the machinery and increased daily output.

The six-month revenue of the company totaled 17.8 billion rubles (+54%); the net profit reached 8.1 billion rubles (+30%). The EBITDA indicator increased by 118% to 10.1 billion rubles.
