President of Russia Prepares a Philharmonic Concert for the SCO Guests

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit adjusted the cultural life of Ekaterinburg. The VIP visit will prevent Drama Theatre actors from playing - the theatre is situated next to the epicenter of the event.

The theatre cancelled the shows scheduled for 15-17 June 2009 as the area around the Sverdlovsk Oblast Government premises and Hyatt Regency Yekaterinburg will be cordoned off by the police. The spectators will not be able to enter the theatre located opposite the Government due to the tightened security.

Meanwhile, the Sverdlovsk Philharmonic Society is preparing to receive the participants of the Summit. RusBusinessNews has been informed that a private concert of the Urals Academic Philharmonic Orchestra will be organized for the guests on behalf of President Dmitry Medvedev.
