Azot, a subsidiary of UCC URALCHEM, has produced 2.3 million tons of chemical products

In 2015 Azot, a subsidiary of UCC URALCHEM, JSC, manufactured 2.3 million tons of chemical products. The output exceeded the target by 5% and increased by 126 thousand tons as compared to 2014, as RusBusinessNews has been informed by the company’s Press Service.

The company produced 1.2 million tons of ammonium nitrate and 1.2 million tons of regular nitric acid.

Last year, all the subdivisions of the company had their equipment overhauled. Approximately 600 million rubles were invested in the revamping and upgrading. The major repair work was completed in the facilities of large-tonnage ammonia aggregate 2 (1B), mild nitric acid (shop 5) and granulated ammonium nitrate (3A).
