URALCHEM has invested 97 million rubles in energy saving

In 2015, United Chemical Company URALCHEM, JSC allocated over 97 million rubles for improvement of energy and resource efficiency of its production. These investments were used to upgrade the power consuming units, reduce the environmental footprint and increase the production efficiency of the company.

As RusBusinessNews has been informed by the Press Service of URALCHEM, the company managed to reduce energy and water consumption and increase the product output as a result. Besides, URALCHEM has noticeably reduced the consumed volume of natural gas used for production of 1 ton of ammonia.

Currently the program on fuel and energy resources efficient consumption is in effect at the company and is scheduled until 2020. It is planned to invest additional 536 million rubles for these purposes.
