The investment project of the VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation to modernize the ring-rolling complex has become a priority for the Sverdlovsk region. The decision was approved on May 23, 2016 by the region’s government commission.

Press Service of the Corporation reported to RusBusinessNews that the project to modernize the ring-rolling complex and to organize disc and ring processing is being implemented under the import substitution program. It is focused on the production of advanced processing from titanium alloys for the aircraft industry, shipbuilding and machine construction, innovative products for aircraft engineering, aerospace industry, energy and other sectors. Due to this project, the production volume alone of titanium rings for Russian consumers will increase 1.6 times by 2020.

The amount from investments up to October 2016 will come to 4.3 billion rubles.
