MOSCOW

On November 14, 2016 Ural Airlines are launching their first flight from Zhukovsky Airport in Osh, not far from Moscow. Planes will fly to Kirghizia on Mondays and Wednesdays; they will fly back on Tuesdays and Thursdays, RusBusinessNews has been informed by the Press Service of the carrier.

Kirill Skuratov, Commercial Director of the airline, has pointed out that Ural Airlines are steadily expanding their route network. The air carrier intends to offer regular flights from Zhukovsky and flights to different destinations outside Russia.

Zhukovsky Airport started its operations in May 2016; it is located within the territory of Ramenskoye aerodrome, 23 kilometers from Moscow. The air hub boasts the longest runway in Europe; it is 5.5 kilometers long, thus being able to handle both passenger and cargo aircraft of any type.
