In 2024, VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation plans to allocate half a billion rubles for charitable purposes, encompassing both ongoing initiatives and new ones. The majority of investments will be allocated towards repairs and modernization of social facilities in Verkhnyaya Salda.

The corporation's press office has informed RusBusinessNews that the budget for charity projects has been increased by almost 200 million rubles. Some of the most large-scale projects include the development of the Prospect Professional and Industrial Cluster, which entails opening a modern cafeteria and a workshop for "Construction and Operation of Buildings and Structures," as well as retrofitting the workshops of Verkhnyaya Salda Aviation and Metallurgical College as part of the Professionalitet federal program. In the summer, a creative youth space will be built in the Verkhnyaya Salda Aviation Metallurgical Technical School's courtyard. The corporation will also continue its financial support for two cadet schools in Verkhnyaya Salda and plans to invest in the enhancement of the Growth Points laboratory facilities in comprehensive schools within Verkhnyaya Salda Urban District.

VSMPO-AVISMA remains a participant of the city improvement program. Specifically, funds have been allocated to co-finance citizens' projects within the framework of the federal initiative budgeting program. The Corporation covered the expenses for manufacturing and installing a monument to Vladislav Tetyukhin, former General Director of VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, in the upcoming park, which is being developed as part of the Comfortable Urban Environment program.

The company actively supports social rehabilitation centers for minors and public organizations, including the Council of Veterans, the Society for the Disabled, the Council of Combat Veterans, the Our Home is Verkhnyaya Salda movement, and others. The company always provides assistance to talented children – athletes' trips to competitions, scholarships and awards for achievements in science and art. Also in 2024, a new sports center will be opened in Verkhnyaya Salda, which will host the Russian Children's Chess Cup in March.

In 2022 and 2023, VSMPO-AVISMA was ranked among the best employers in Russia by Forbes, and also became the best philanthropist in the Sverdlovsk Region for two years in a row.

In 2020, the Empathy Foundation was launched in Verkhnyaya Salda by Mikhail Shelkov, a shareholder of VSMPO-AVISMA. It works in various fields: every month it provides financial support to more than 1,200 educators in Sverdlovsk, including teachers and kindergarten teachers. It also organizes free educational courses and encourages active teachers and outstanding students. The fund will allocate 200 million rubles for these purposes in 2024.
