Russian-German Economic Forum To Take Place in Tyumen

The Russian-German Economic Forum will take place in Tyumen on 15-16 April 2009. RusBusinessNews was informed by the regional Government that the delegation of German business people will be led by the Consul General of Germany in Ekaterinburg Dr. Renate Schimkoreit.

In 2008 the trade turnover between the Tyumen Oblast and Germany has exceeded $53.6 million. The total trade turnover volume between the Tyumen Oblast and foreign countries amounted to $1.1 billion last year.

The Czech business delegation visited Tyumen in the end of March. During the meeting with Miroslav Kostelka, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the RF, Governor Vladimir Yakushev had expressed the willingness to offer attractive investment projects and to consider the possibilities for the financing of the Tyumen industry by Czech banks on reasonable terms.
