Urals Medical Equipment Will Be Tested In Greece

Bio Provider (Greece) by the end of 2009 will receive a trial batch of medical equipment made by FSUE (Federal State Unitary Enterprise) PA (Production Association) Urals Optical and Mechanical Plant (UOMZ). This equipment will be used for a trial run in Athens.

In experts' opinion, due to the financial crisis the demand for expensive equipment from Western European companies in Greece has seriously diminished. In this situation Bio Provider noticed the products of the Urals plant promoted in the European market under the TriAlpTek brand.

UOMZ representatives informed RusBusinessNews that the Greek distributor expressed a particular interest in phototherapy lamps, baby heaters, as well as neonatal tables and incubators which are as good as their European equivalents in terms of quality and operational properties and beat them price-wise. Should the test run prove successful the decision will be made on batch purchasing.

FSUE (Federal State Unitary Enterprise) PA (Production Association) Urals Optical and Mechanical Plant is one of the largest enterprises of Russian military industrial complex. As well as making state of the art optical electronic systems for the Ministry of Defence and enforcement agencies UOMZ is making a broad range of non-military products: medical equipment, geodesic instruments, railway equipment, and lighting equipment.
