Owners of the fourth-generation iPhone will be able to take advantage of face-to-face video calling. Apple CEO, Steve Jobs, who will be presenting the new device at the WWDC-2010 conference in San Francisco, claims that 100 new innovations went into the making of this iPhone.

The iPhone 4GS will be much faster, with improved battery life, a front-facing camera for video chatting, a retina display screen with 326 pixels per inch, and a body made of titanium and glass, which is 30 times stronger than plastic. The fourth-level iPhone is equipped with a 5-megapixel camera with 5x digital zoom.

According to Jobs, this is the most powerful breakthrough since the iPhone first came on the market. The phone is 25% thinner - only 9.3 mm. thick. and the battery can provide an additional two hours of operating time - up to 7 hours of talk time and up to 10 hours of Internet surfing.

In the U.S., price of the 16GB phone will be $199, and $299 for the 32 GB model. On June 24 the iPhone 4GS will be available on the market in the U.S., Britain, Germany, France and Japan. Eighteen other countries will be added to this list in July 2010. As a correspondent for RusBusinessNews has noted, this new version won't make it to Russia before 2011 - that seems to be the standard time lag for all the previous iPhone models.
