Ural Airlines set up a record in passenger turnover

Ural Airlines has achieved its record high level of 1.5 million passengers serviced by the company over the year. During the period from January to November 2010, the Ural's largest air-carrier provided services to 1,678,999 passengers; more than half of them were passengers who chose foreign routes of the company. Thanks to the steadily increasing passenger turnover, Ural Airlines were able to exceed the 2009 level reached within the similar 11 month period by 21%.

The airline's Press-Service informed RusBusinessNews that within the January-November period the company made 15,107 domestic and foreign flights (the gain to the previous year- 21%). In November, Ural Airlines opened a new destination from Ekaterinburg to Istanbul, launched the third flight from Ekaterinburg to Beijing, and the flight from Ekaterinburg to Hainan. Starting from 2010, the average occupancy was 69% during the flights provided by the air-career.
