SVERDLOVSK REGION
Starting from September 1, salaries will be indexed for the second time in 2025 for 20,000 employees of the VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation in Verkhnyaya Salda (Sverdlovsk Region) and Berezniki (Perm Territory).
Wages were already increased by 6% on April 1. Now, they will be raised by an additional 3.52%, bringing the total increase to 9.52% – in line with Russia’s inflation rate for 2024. The decision to raise salaries was made in order to ensure workforce stability at the company’s facilities, taking into account labour market analysis and in accordance with the employer’s corporate social responsibility agreement currently in effect, the VSMPO-AVISMA press service told RusBusinessNews.

Denis Pasler, Acting Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, has previously named increasing life expectancy and quality of life for residents of the Urals as a top priority. VSMPO-AVISMA shares these goals in the regions where it operates. In 2025, the company will allocate more than 2.2 billion rubles to social and charitable programmes. Over the past three years, social investments have grown by 33%. Key benefits include voluntary health insurance, health and wellness programmes for employees and their families, sports and fitness initiatives, social support for workers and company veterans, as well as a wide range of financial benefits: meal subsidies, childbirth allowances, and monthly childcare support payments for children aged 1.5 to 3 years, among others.
VSMPO-AVISMA has been ranked among Russia’s best employers by Forbes for the past three years and is recognised as the leading charitable organisation in the Sverdlovsk Region.
