The Consular District of the Consulate General covers the constituent areas of the Urals, the Siberian, and the Far East Federal Districts.

Main functions of the Trade and Economic section of the Consulate General include the following:

facilitating direct economic cooperation between the Czech Republic and subjects of the Russian Federation covered by the Consular District;
attracting investment into the priority sectors of the Russian economy;
providing assistance to Czech exporters;
assistance to businessmen of both countries in establishing mutually beneficial contacts.
