Ural Airlines increased the number of their flights by 39% in the first quarter of 2011 as compared to the same period in the previous year. The airline's aircraft made 4,030 flights, out of which 1,658 flights were made to foreign countries. The most impressive progress was demonstrated by flights to CIS countries, the number of which increased by 50%.

In January-March 2011, the passenger flow became larger by 21% and totaled 345,265 people. Out of them, 188,645 passengers used domestic flights.

The representatives of the Press-Service at Ural Airlines informed "RusBusinessNews" that in May 2011 the company intends to increase the frequency of flights from Ekaterinburg to Barcelona and Rome. Besides, the company is going to launch summer flights to Larnaca from Ufa, Samara, Kazan and Novosibirsk. Samara will be able to offer passengers new destinations, such as Barcelona, Varna and Thessaloniki.

Ural Airlines rank among the ten top Russian airline companies in terms of traffic volume. In 2010, the company provided services to 1,792,220 passengers. The core of the aircraft fleet comprises 16 Airbus aircraft.
