RPC UralVagonZavod will build a steelmaking plant in the Saratov Region

In summer 2011, the Research and production corporation UralVagonZavod, together with the Engels metalworks, will start construction of a steelmaking plant in the Saratov Region. The corporation's Press Service informed "RusBusinessNews" that the facility will be constructed within the shortest time with application of advanced German technology.
The investment scheduled for Phase I of the construction will amount to 1.5 billion rubles. The initial annual output will amount to 30,000 tons of fabricated steel for rail-car building.
Research and production corporation UralVagonZavod, OJSC, was founded in March, 2008, using the facilities of UralVagonZavod, Federal State Unitary Enterprise. The authorized capital of the corporation is 20.56 billion rubles; it comprises more than 20 businesses and research institutions. The corporation manufactures railroad, military, road-building and agricultural machinery and equipment.
