VSMPO-AVISMA signed long-term contracts at MAKS-2011 Air Show

The VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, OJSC, and Rolls-Royce have signed three long-term agreements for 2011-2015. The Russian company will supply titanium semi-finished products, automobile disc and ring forgings to the automobile concern for the amount of 250 million US dollars.

The VSMPO-AVISMA Press-Service has informed "RusBusinessNews" that the Corporation has been cooperating with Rolls-Royce for more than 10 years. The scope of cooperation is expected to expand in the next few years.

During the MAKS-2011 exhibition, the VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation also signed a long-term contract with the Airbus aircraft-building company and the Goodrich Corporation for supplies of titanium forged products for main landing gears of the А350-1000 aircraft; the term of the contract is till 2020.

"The supply of products of high-level processing for the А350 project will open more opportunities for our companies in future", stated Mikhail Voevodin, General Director of the VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation.
