The Ugoria insurance company's show jumping cup is off to Germany

From August 18-21, 2011, Khanty-Mansiysk hosted the third international show jumping competition, the CSI*** Ugra Cup. The Ugoria insurance company sponsored this prestigious tournament, which offered 120,000 euros in prize money.

The organizers of the event told RusBusinessNews that riders came from Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Belgium, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Belarus to compete for the title. The panel of judges was headed by a Finnish judge from the International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI), Caesar von Walzel.

The competition for the Ugoria insurance group's cup is traditionally one of the most enthralling sporting events, and this year the grand prize went home with the German rider Hans Torben Rüder, on his horse Kasano. Ugoria's general director, Aleksei Semenikhin, presented him with his award.
