Ural Airlines will add four Airbuses to its fleet

SVERDLOVSK REGION.

In autumn of 2011 Ural Airlines are planning to start operating another four Airbuses. One of them has already arrived in Ekaterinburg and is going through the check-up; the other airbuses are expected to arrive in October.

Sergei Skuratov, General Director of Ural Airlines has informed RusBusinessNews that the airline company is negotiating leases for another six airbuses. At present, Ural Airlines have 18 Airbuses servicing their flights.

The airline company intends to build a new hangar complex in its base airport Koltsovo (Ekaterinburg) by 2013. It will be able to accommodate aircraft of different types and sizes, even such aircraft as Boeing 747. The investment in the project will amount to 30 million US dollars.

Ural Airlines rank among the top ten leading Russian airline companies in the air traffic performance. In 2010, the air carrier offered its services to 1,792,220 passengers.
