The Kurgan Oblast Will Receive Further 1.22 Billion Roubles from the Federal Budget

THE KURGAN OBLAST.

The 2009 budget revenues of the Kurgan Oblast will amount to 20.352 billion roubles, which is 1.401 billion roubles less than has been planned. RusBusinessNews was told by the Oblast Government that the sequester is caused primarily by the drop in the profit tax collected by 1.457 billion roubles, and the income tax by 1.192 billion roubles. 1,228 million roubles of additional federal help will help the Oblast to mitigate the negative effect.

The Kurgan Oblast budget expenditures will be reduced by 1.657 billion roubles and amount to 21.737 billion roubles. Capital construction (1 billion roubles) and road sector (342 million roubles) got under the "financial axe". A 1.385 billion roubles' budget surplus has been planned for 2009.
