ORENBURG REGION.

In 2012 the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company (UMMC) intends to buy more than 20 mine excavators for its business subdivision operating in the Orenburg Region - the Gaysky Integrated Mining and Processing Plant, OJSC. The enterprise has already received 14 BelAZ excavators having load-carrying capacity of 45 and 55 tons. They are intended for the Yuzhno-Kirovskoye gold field, the Gayskoye and Levoberezhnoye copper and sulfide deposits.

UMMC will spend more than 2 billion rubles on upgrading of the Gaysky Integrated Mining and Processing Plant.

The representatives of the UMMC Press Service have informed RusBusinessNews that new excavators will help to increase ore output in the Orenburg Region. This year the Gaysky Integrated Mining and Processing Plant is planning to produce 1.8 million tons of copper and sulfide ore by using the open-pit mining method- a 4% increase against 2011.
