Ural Airlines has passed an international safety audit

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) extended to April 25, 2014 Ural Airlines certificate of compliance with IOSA safety standards. This is the airlines' third international IOSA audit.

The air carrier's press office told RusBusinessNews that Ural Airlines is one of the top ten major Russian airlines for safety and volume of traffic.

Ural Airlines transported over 500 thousand passengers during the first quarter of 2012. This is almost 150% more than between January and March of 2011. In 2011, the air carrier served over 2.5 million passengers.
