19.04.2012 — News
VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, OJSC and the Boeing aircraft-manufacturing group have extended their bilateral agreement for three years, until the end of 2018.
The corporation's press office told RusBusinessNews that under this agreement, the Verkhnyaya Salda-based company will furnish the American firm and its suppliers with titanium products to be used in the production of the Boeing 787, 777, and 737.
Shipments of forgings were specified in a separate contract negotiated by the parties, which will be valid until 2016. Ural Boeing Manufacturing, a joint venture in Verkhnyaya Salda between the Russian and American companies, machines titanium parts for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
The titanium products will be shipped to Boeing and its partners via VSMPO-AVISMA's network of sales offices in the US, Britain, Germany, and China.
